Project Description

A modern contemporary house design in a signature lifestyle estate with a simple and honest structure that responds to the South African lifestyle and climate. We were tasked to design a home that expressed simplicity, scale and proportion while preserving the ambience and sense of place within the eco estate. The design creates and indoor-outdoor flow that is unique and climatically appropriate. An indoor garden brings the outdoor living space into the open plan living space that opens out to a patio.

The use of raw materials such as brick, stone and glass allow the design to be energy efficient with a minimal environmental impact of the structure.

The house includes 5 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, study, and gym.
